If you have created a website from a project file ProView will automatically update the data. This is much faster than building a new website.
Only pages which have been changed are updated.
New pages which have been added to the project are created.
New images and movies copied to the media folders.
If the website folder can not be found automatically, you will be asked to locate the target folder. If you are uncertain about the location of the target folder, you may select any folder or a new folder. However, it may be best at this point to cancel and build a new website.
If you have made changes to your HTML pages outside of ProView (see “Editing HTML Pages”), you will be notified before the page is overwritten. If you choose to save over such pages any external changes will be lost.
NOTE: Since ProView never removes files from your website folders, you may choose to build a new website if you’ve significantly change your website or made changes to your website outside of ProView.
